Director's Statement
"After sitting through a midnight Christmas Eve mass service, high as a kite, I imagined a little boy peeking through the pews to watch the service. The cynical curiosity of this character I so deeply envisioned drew my attention, and I decided to follow him down his little rabbit hole of adventures.
Amos, like many people who have a history of alcohol abuse in their families, touched me more than any character has touched me before. This stubborn little eight-year-old taking the audience on a journey of discovery feels like a story that the world could use right now.
With the help of my outstanding producer, Paris Burris, and extraordinary cinematographer, Dillon Milner, we have been able to weave together the adventures of Amos Waters into a journey we are excited to take audiences on- a perspective we are thrilled to share with the world."
