My Story
Alina McMahon is a writer-director with a background in marketing and media strategy. Her professional experience gives her a unique perspective on the current state of the film industry as it stands on the cusp of a major shift.
Alina has worked with Paramount Pictures, R&R Digital, Richmond Film Network, and various independent filmmakers developing campaigns focused on visibility for emerging artists looking to disrupt the industry. Her background in strategic marketing paired with her love for independent art allows her to execute professional, results-driven campaigns on a budget.
A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration, Alina has extensive knowledge in social media, audience strategy, sales, and client relationships. After a recent pivot to a career in filmmaking, her debut short film, Midlo, is currently in production!
In her free time Alina likes to watch movies, travel, consume TikTok edits, and search for her next adventure.
